Ft. Myers Magazine is a bi-monthly magazine focusing on local and national arts & lifestyles, reaching 50,000 readers with a circulation of 20,000 distributed free at more than 250 locations throughout Lee and Collier Counties in Southwest Florida.
Their target audience is educated, active, creative and successful residents of Southwest Florida, ages 20-75 years old, as well as guests at the best hotels and resorts on the Gulf Coast.

The Dollar Stretcher
The Dollar Stretcher produces both a print version and an online version of their magazine. Please Note: Articles accepted for the print version pay $.10 per word; articles for the online version pay nothing but provide an opportunity for writers to showcase their skills and build their portfolio.
The Dollar Stretcher is a group of publications dedicated to "Living Better...for Less". The goal is to provide readers with ways to help them save time and money. Occasionally we will also include material on ways to make money at home.
The majority of articles that will be used will be in the 500 to 700 word range but can be up to 1,000 words.
- How to articles based on personal or professional experience
- Time and space saving techniques
- Creative ways to save on food, housing, auto and clothing
- Stage-of-life material for babies, children, teens, college students, singles, couples, the divorced, single parents, empty nesters and retirees
- Material targeting different levels of experience with frugal living is welcome. We are looking for articles for the newcomer as well as the experienced tightwad
- Material on dealing with non-frugal partner, children or significant others
