The Value of Subaffiliate Programs

Home Business Links

Subaffiliate marketing programs have great benefits for everyone involved. Many persons new to running an affiliate marketing home business sometimes need someone for support and guidance.

I really like programs that offer a support structure. Let's face it. There are some financial opportunity programs on the market that are a little difficult to understand. Some affiliate programs have very good support.

And there are a good number of online marketers who want you to be their subaffiliate but would rather not hear from you after that.

Think for a moment. Why do you think Beth and I have this website that grows with new information almost daily that is completely free for you? Sure, we could have built a much smaller site to recruit affiliates and make sales. Lots of people do that very thing.

We understand that the quality of subaffiliates is far more important than the quantity. If you are a subaffiliate in our organization, we certainly want you to succeed. And we want you to duplicate our successful marketing methods.

Subaffiliates are found in affiliate marketing programs that have two or more commission tiers, or levels. The subaffiliate earns commission on the sale and the referring affiliate earns an override commission on the sale.

For instance, the subaffiliate commission might be 50%, and the referring affiliate override commission might be 5%.

Yes, it is true that some persons you refer to affiliate programs will find a way to join the program and cut you out. But, let me ask you this: is that the type of subaffiliate you would want, anyway?

You want to affiliate yourself with successful people who possess a degree of integrity in their business operation. You want people to affiliate with you because you display integrity as you build a successful business.

Building an organization of "cheaters" is not a successful business plan. You want valuable subaffiliates and, let's face it, cheaters have no value.

Unfortunately, some buyers are the same way. That's why I've written the article, How to Protect Your Affiliate Links.

There is a two-way street of information sharing. If I see a subaffiliate outselling me, I want to find out what successful method he or she is using. This can truly build value in your organization as you share success tips with one another.

Online purchasing has been rising steadily. Have you read the article about Marketing to College Students? The Youth Media and Marketing Networks Fifth Annual College Graduate Lifestyle Survey showed that online purchasing by new college graduates increased from 21% in 2004 to a whopping 80% in 2005.

That provides a quick glimpse into the future of online marketing.

According to the Bible story, Noah received instructions to go out and find two members of every species to save from the flood. Well, friend, a flood of online marketing is coming. It's time to begin building your ark.

For one thing, you're not using the old, old, tired approach of, "I would like to talk to you about something I think you'd be interested in."

Online promotions allow you to present information to the Internet community and allow them to decide whether or not to participate. Online promotions allow you to answer any questions a prospective participant may have.

It allows the prospect to say, "I want to do this." You can read about our Amway story in the free report, Rising to the Top. But I'll tell you right now it was like most: uneventful and non-successful. Why? Because we really were not looking for a way to make an extra income.

People who visit this type of website are looking for something. People who visit your website or blog or online promotion are seeking information to help them with some part of their life.

Here are a few programs that offer override sales commissions to business builders.
