Shop and Earn Home Business - How is that possible?
Most of you are aware that Beth suffered a brain injury in 1990 and that we wrote Brain Injury Survivor's Guide to help many of the millions of families living in that world of uncertainty.
In an effort to make the book more readily available to people all over the world who speak English, we created an interactive eBook version and put it on the market for the low price of $7.99.
We Wanted to Do More
The BISG (Brain Injury Survivor’s Guide) Foundation Power Mall has been developed with one purpose in mind: providing copies of Brain Injury Survivor’s Guide to organizations, facilities and people living with brain injury at no cost.
Mike West of Arkansas, provided the motivation for this venture. After Mike and his wife Jeanne had read Brain Injury Survivor’s Guide, Mike bought ten more copies for a civic organization to distribute to people in need of such information.
Beth and I wanted to follow his example but, quite frankly, did not have the funds available to do much good. Then we met Gail Sober who told us about Ginny Dye, president and founder of My Power Mall. Ginny’s main company is Together We Can Change the World, Inc. A percentage of the corporate profit goes into the One-Child-At-A-Time program helping needy children all over the country.
Why couldn’t we do the same to benefit people living with brain injury? Well, we could. And that’s how BISG Foundation Power Mall came into existence.
What is a Power Mall? Simply stated, it’s a collection of over 1,000 online stores with over 1,000,000 products who pay rebates on products purchased at their online stores. These stores have been recruited into the program by staff members who wanted people to be able to purchase products they use everyday…and to purchase those products at the same price everyone else is paying or, even, at a discounted price from time to time.
How does it work? Every person who decides to participate signs up for their own Power Mall; it is your personal shopping mall (with benefits). Remember, it does not cost anything to sign up for your personal mall. When you shop at your online mall, you receive rebates on your purchases.
The BISG Foundation Power Mall also receives a rebate on your purchases. Think about this for a moment. You sign up for your personal shopping mall where you can buy things you normally buy. You receive a rebate on your purchases and you help BISG Foundation Power Mall receive funds that will be used to distribute free copies of Brain Injury Survivor’s Guide.
Our first purchase from our personal mall was for a DVD from Barnes and Noble. We could just have easily purchased a toy for our grandson or picked up something from the Home Shopping Network or, even, picked up underwear from Webundies or Hanes. We could have ordered clothing from Ralph Lauren or Old Navy. We could even have shopped at Target or Overstock.com or Gap or Macy’s or Kohl’s or Kmart.
Yes, there are over 1,000 stores, and you know many of them. You even shop at a lot of them, already! Now, it’s just a matter of shopping at those same stores through your personal power mall. And earn a rebate when you do. And, help us provide copies of Brain Injury Survivor’s Guide to families who need more information about living with brain injury.
Your Personal Mall with Benefits, okay, what does that mean? First, of course, is the fact that you can receive a rebate for your shopping purchases. But there’s more if you are interested. You can tell other people about what you are doing and why. Just like this message. Ask them to go to your personal Power Mall to sign up.
They receive their own personal shopping mall, and they receive rebates on their purchases. The benefit part for you is that you also receive a rebate on their purchases. There is not a requirement of any kind for you to tell people what you’re doing. Usually, however, we do tell people when we run across something good or helpful to others.
Someone will ask, "Have you eaten at the new Bongo Yummies restaurant? What did you think?" And you’ll tell them. Perhaps you were shopping at your local Target store and saw a great deal on something. When you got home, you called a friend to tell them in case they were interested.
That's why we mention the possible benefits to you; just in case you’re interested. But we believe you are a lot like us. You want to help someone. You want to make a difference in someone’s life. You see, Beth and I are not donating a portion of the rebates we receive to providing copies of Brain Injury Survivor’s Guide to those in need. We're donating all of them.
Every penny of every rebate we receive will go into a special fund to purchases copies of Brain Injury Survivor’s Guide direct from the publisher and ship those copies to people or facilities that need them.
If you would like to help, please do so by clicking here to go to the BISG Foundation Power Mall to sign up for your personal mall, or to, at least, learn more about it. If not, that’s okay, too.
